Plant equipment and machinery are the sources of many eye injuries. Be sure to use any guards, screens, and shields that are attached to the equipment. Make sure they are always in place and used along with additional eye protection.
Movable screens are available. The screens can be used to separate workers from those nearby. Portable welding screens can be positioned around welding areas to protect other workers from sparks and radiation.
