Types of Eye Protection

Often required to guard against molten metal and chemical splashes.
Available to fit over a hard hat or to wear directly on the head.
A face shield should always be used with other eye protection such as goggles or glasses.
Always inspect prior to issuing and prior to each use.
Damaged or defective PPE shall be removed from service immediately.
A face shield and safety glasses or goggles shall be worn for chipping, grinding, or sawing.
